Practice or practise?
In International English there are two ways to spell practice, depending on whether the word is used as a noun or a verb. In American English the ‘s’ has been dispensed of entirely and the word is spelled ‘practice’.
As a noun, practice means a custom or habit, practice or practise as a verb means to do something repeatedly in order to master it.
Noun: “It is my practice to check my spelling before I press send.”
Verb: “I practise/practice my guitar every evening.”
